Society of Personality and Social Psychology, 2025 Annual Convention

Cydney Hurston Dupree is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at University College London’s School of Management. She previously spent five years on the faculty at Yale University. Dr. Dupree was trained as a social psychologist at Princeton University, where she earned her PhD in psychology and social policy.

In recognition of her research contributions, Dr. Dupree has been named a ‘‘Rising Star’’ by the American Psychological Society and was selected for the SAGE Early Career Trajectory Award by the Society for Personality and Social Psychology.

 

Dr. Dupree’s research has been published in leading academic journals, including  Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, Nature Human Behavior, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and Administrative Science Quarterly. Her research and writing have appeared in leading media outlets, including The Washington PostLos Angeles Times, and NPR.

Dr. Dupree grew up in the Washington D.C. area and now lives in London, England. In her free time, she unwinds with a good book, weekends abroad, and regular outings with friends.
